How we label allergens — and what we will never claim
Daily Spatula marks common allergens and kitchen swaps so dinner is easier. That is not medical advice.
Daily Spatula is a Grave Danger Media kitchen site. We publish one dependable recipe at a time, with the allergens we know about and the swaps that usually work in a home kitchen.
We will not tell you a recipe is “safe” for an allergy, a medical diet, or a certification you need. Labels change. Factories share lines. Honey is still sugar. “Gluten-free style” means we avoided obvious wheat — not that a lab tested the plate.
Read the packages in your own cupboard. If you manage a serious allergy or a medical diet, talk to a clinician or dietitian. We are the fox with the spatula, not your doctor.
